TCL/TK CONTRIB ARCHIVE (harbor.ecn.purdue.edu [128.46.128.76])
--------------------------------------------------------------
[Last updated: Mar 02 1993]
This archive is for user-contributed Tcl/Tk extensions, programs and
other stuff. If you're looking for the Tcl and Tk distributions, you
should FTP them from sprite.berkeley.edu [128.32.150.27].
Harbor is the central file server for the software staff of the
Engineering Computer Network, so please try to refrain from FTPing
stuff between 9am and 5pm EST (GMT -0500). No mail-archive service is
planned as yet -- users without FTP capability should use one of the
following mail-based FTP services (send mail to the appropriate address
with "help" in the body):
BITNET users: BITFTP (bitftp@pucc.princeton.edu)
Others: DEC ftpmail (ftpmail@decwrl.dec.com)
All contributions should be placed in the /incoming subdirectory -
to save me some time, PLEASE include a README that describes your
contribution (Don't just call it README - tack the name of your
"package" on to the front, please). Please send me a short mail
message stating the filename(s) of your contribution and a brief
description (for the Index). If you've posted some code to
comp.lang.tcl or the Tcl mailing list, and you want it to be archived
at this site, please deposit it in /incoming or mail it in a
suitable form (preferably uuencoded compressed tar file, but a shar
file's OK) to:
tcl-archive@harbor.ecn.purdue.edu
Note that only contributions that are uploaded or sent to tcl-archive
will be archived. I will *not* automatically pull your code off
comp.lang.tcl or the Tcl mailing list.
The Tcl/Tk archive can also be accessed via the World Wide Web (WWW)
with the URL, "http://web.cs.ualberta.ca/~wade/Auto/Tcl.html"
Enjoy!
